I know there's one in Sannomiya on Flower Road close to Shin-Kobe station, although I can't remember the name of it. Sorry! |

How was the bookstore? Was it used enough for you? I haven't been there for a while so I am not even sure if they are still open. |

Wantage Books. |
Yes, Wantage is a good one.
There is another used bookstore near Sannomiya station, along the main shotengai that starts just opposite Sogo department store. That shop is Japanese owned and operated and most of their stock is used and rare Japanese books, but on the second floor they have a fairly sizeable selection of English language used books (though most of these are collector's quality and the prices are fairly high). They have a pretty big selection of prints and other interesting things though, I used to spend a lot of time browsing through there whenever I was in Kobe (I rarely bought anything but it was a nice place to wander through). |

They are indeed open and sufficiently used. In fact, I bought more than I planned to. |
