ANSWER SPOILERS DON'T READ BEFORE GUESSING!
"Caesar had some jam for tea."
"Brutus ate a rat."
"Casar sick in omnibus."
"Brutus sick in hat."
The first one's beyond me. I must only have half a brain. |

"Them are not ducks." (They are not ducks.)
"Oh, yes they are."
"See their wings?"
"Well, I'll be f*****, them are ducks." (Oh, my they are ducks after all.) |

OK, Wolf, you're on the ball today. Anyone else have some brain teasers for the English "experts" here? |

Ok, this one keeps coming up in class.
How do you explain or elicit 'tacky' and 'cheesy' well? |

Well, Dyak, I don't know. First you have to teach good taste, which, unfortunately, seems to be instinctual.
A famous one:
Dozey doats n lamzey doats
N lidl lamzey divy,
A kiddle edivy to. Wooden u?
And I've messed it all up spelling-wise, but oh well. |

Does (deer) eat oats and lambs eat oats
And little lambs eat ivy.
A kid (baby goat) will eat ivy too. Wouldn't you? |

Thanks Capergirl!
7 W of the W ? Should it be 7 D of the W or am I being dense?
I've cracked all bar three (the numbers 13, 1 and 32). Here are three more for you:
22 P on a FP
21 S on a D
12 I in a F |
