Interesting for sure but amazing is open to question.....This is a supposedly Buddhist republic run by a very colourful and corrupt guy who preaches equality and compassion while running around in luxury cars when most of his people are existing on the poverty line!If you are interested in such places you might also visit Ulan Ude in Buryatia where there is probably more actual practice of the religion by the indigenous people, despite being increasingly outnumbered by Russians. But I'm afraid I haven't heard of any private English schools in either place, probably for similar reasons someone else recently posted about Kaliningrad! |

I also dug-up a very interesting article yesterday on the net from the Guardianunlimited.co.uk archives about this rather colourful guy who amongst other things says he was abducted by a U.F.O. and given some very important information about his supposedly unique mission for his country and the world in general!Although I have a very open-mind about such subjects and it MIGHT be true,I can't swallow his other allegations such as the idea that it is always ideal for the rulers of countries to be very rich as it helps to prevent corruption......
I suppose you have to give it to him for saying what he thinks! |
