Just wondered if anyone knew of any football(soccer) teams around Chiba prefecture? My boyfriend is missing his english football, and although now he can download Match of the Day on bittorrent, i know he would be happier if he could find somewhere to play! Bless him. |

Sala, a popular bar in Tsudanuma, Chiba has it's own foreigners footy team.
They meet up on Sundays and play most weekends in a local league. |

Does he like Futsal? There are loads of Futsal teams around Japan as the pitch is smaller and lesser players are required than normal, so it fits in well between city buildings and rooftops with nets. I hadn't played Futsal for years, but recently joined a small team of Japanese doctors who play every other week in the evening.
Check it out
Edit: I forgot to say, I'm also a huge footie fan and watch most of top Premier league games on Sky TV here. If you're here for the long run, see if you can get a satellite dish and receiver so you can watch games live. |

Why pay for the games ?
Use p2p and you can watch ALL of them for free.
Sky only tends to show the top teams wheras p2p shows all the Prem games and any other games that are on live.
I often watch Championship games.

Aa right I've never heard of the site you mention.
Luckily for me my interest lies with Liverpool so that covers all of the league games live on the TV.
Though I suppose if you support a less popular team such a site would be useful. I don't mind paying to get Sky, since I can watch it easily with no hassle and don't have to mess with a computer to stream a fairly low quality video to squint at. Also Sky sports here do a fair good amount of highlight coverage and analysis shows too. |
