Hi

I am soon to begin a teaching position in the Osaka Prefecture Moriguchi? Does anybody know the area and can tell me anything about it with regards to its location and accessibility in terms of transport, bars, leisure facilities etc? Also how late are facilities open I.e gyms, the tube etc.

Any recomendations of what I should go and see in the surrounding locale? Also could anyone tell me the cost of a domestic return flight or railway return ticket to locations such as Tokyo, Hiroshima & Sapporo?

Any advice you could give me about life as an english teacher in this region would be much appreciated!

Moriguchi is one of the suburbs of Osaka City in the far northeastern part of the city. The Tanimachi Line (purple subway) and Keihan Line (train) run through there. I think you'll enjoy living there simply because you're not so far from the main entertainment/nightlife districts at all (by train).

Thanks for the reply! I shall be working for the Aeon school there. The company are arranging accomodation 20-50mins away so I guess it depends how lucky I am as regards to my location! If anyone has any information about teaching for Aeon in this area that would be great! Thanks
