I don't know anything about this school but I think I saw their staff recruitment ad somewhere recently (?).
But there are some small 'international schools' here which pay full-time staff (all local hires for obvious reasons) 20000HKD a month and that's it (no extra benefits).
Teachers who work for that would be financially better off working in one of the zillions of private 'language schools' (where course materials are provided and there are none of the extras expected of teachers in schools).
Real international schools pay at least double this + flights + accommodation allowance + meical cover + end of contract gratuity (usually 20% of salary). |
