Could someone give me a ballpark idea of a reasonable salary for 2 months of full time esl work (30 hours a week) in a private oil company in Iran?
The job involves teaching technicians and requires my Masters level knowledge of Arabic as well.
Is there a difference between salary for women vs. men? |

I have not heard of anyone recruited recently to work in Iran. I am surprised they require knowledge of Arabic. I would have thought Farsi more appropriate, or Farsi and Arabic.
If you have to negotiate, look at salaries in countries on the other side of the Gulf, and also at Libya where there are companies recruiting on short-term contracts.
Not less than US$3,000 a month with accommodation, food and transport provided. |

I'm actually asking for a friend (I'm American, and therefore cannot legally go).
It's appartently an oil company asking for bids from language schools located in Europe (maybe they're trying to save money?).
Anyway, thanks for the info as my friend was underestimating what to ask for. |
