I was wondering how most people enter the country when they are staying long term. I'm planning on spending about a year in costa rica. The airlines won't let you buy a one way tickect and open ended return tickets are expensive. is there a loop hole i don't know about, or do most people just miss their return flight.
thanks |

You can buy a return ticket to anywhere, not only to your country of origin. Also, some air lines will sell you one-ways, ask around.
Buy a ticket from San Jose to somewhere cheap, then use it to renew your visa when it expires after three months. |
