In regards to the difficulties dealing with my school in Harbin me and my Chinese wife want to leave Harbin so I can find a better school to work in and give my wife a better life away from Harbin as she had problems with her company as well.. The school where I�m working in now will still fine me 3,000rmb and I will live with it, but I strongly feel it�s wrong as this was a minor matter which I wanted to settle peacefully. The truth is I have nothing against the school, It�s just I feel it�s so unfair the way they have treated me in regards to this situation. It�s my dream to have good relationships with Chinese schools but not be treated so unfairly. I�d like to find a school in Dalian, Qingdao, Weihai or Yantan. If any one can help us please let us know asap.
Again thank you everybody for your comments in regards to my situation, we may not know each other but it�s good to know foreigners� are not alone in China and we can give each other good advice and support when we need it.

If you have the chance and are in the postion (financially) dump on them, despite the fact of your wife's relationship with the manager (If I remember rightly). Soon as you are paid, tell them you'll no longer be teaching for them, end of story. Even better, ask if your fine can be spread over 3 months, then after you have your wages, tell them then. You really have been badly treated. What's good for the goose.......

Please write a review about that school in Harbin; they seem to deserve to be included in the Hall of Shame.

Good luck to you - and if possible try to leave them without paying them anything! They must be crooks!
