"Oh, yes, I know Hamlet! What a piece of work is a man!
How noble in reason!
How infinite in faculty!
in form, in moving, how express and admirable!
in action how like an angel!
in apprehension how like a god!" - Jean-Lu Picard, quoting William Shakespeare.
There are some good men out there nomadder. Even on this very board. Take heart. |

I don't mean this any other way than a question pertaining to irony;
Isn't that gentleman in the pic homosexual?
I thought I heard somewhere he is.
& since the original question was put to the women here, I'll not comment on it. |

Dear nomadder,
And what is man
is he no more
than beasts unknowing are?
He stands in dust
his hands outstretched
and reaches for a star.
He draws in death
with every breath
of each swift-passing year.
He looks on life
and still can laugh
although he lives with fear.
His joys are short
and dearly bought
they wither in an hour.
Yet he can see
God in each tree
and heaven in each flower.
What paradox
this ape that talks
this angel with a curse.
Creation's jewel,
the wisest fool
in all the universe.
Regards,
John

I need to think about it a bit more to formulate a proper response. Right now, the only way to explain my feelings is this:
I like men.
Unless they're jerks.

Nomadder! So nice to see you back!
What do we like about men? Hmmmm....good question. I can think of a few things I like about men off the top of my head, but I am pretty sure that if I typed them here they would be beeped out and/or cause the thread to be locked.
I suppose the thing I like best about men is the fact that no matter what crap things they have to say about us, the truth is that they simply cannot get by without us females. We, on the other hand, can get along just wonderfully without them. |

Dear nomadder,
" Aren`t these quotes super old written in the time when women couldn`t write anything. "
I'm not sure - is 40 years ago "super old", and could women write back in the 1960s? That's when I wrote that (admittedly juvenile) "quote".
