Hey all,
Im looking at several places in Asia to teach English. I have a Degree in Computer Science, a post graduate diploma in law, and a masters degree in Medical law. Also im planing to obtain a CELTA (or 120 hour TEFL qualification) before i embark on any travel. What type of salary could i expect to earn in Vietnam?? Due to loan payments back in the UK i need to be saving a minimum of 150 (US$300) per month. I know this is doable in South Korea or Taiwan but is it a realistic expectation in Vietnam?? |

It really depends. If you TEFL qualified and have some experience in teaching, you can earn upto $2000/month. After acc. and food, you can easily save $500/m. Unless you are a party-animal, as there's no shortage of places for that, from dawn to dust literally. |

I party quite frequently and i can easily save $1000 a month on making around $1800 a month ( it helps my rent is only $100)
Its quite easy to save $1000 a month here if you are working decent hours and just dont live like a king.....just living normally...you dont have to be cheap. |
