"Qualifies for teaching English abroad anywhere on earth" is the claim on their website, but I can't help thinking that a language school in Mexico might look at the certificate that I earned at Text and Talk institute in Thailand and tell me that they have never heard of the school and therefore have to decline their offer of employment.
What do you guys think? Would this cert be acceptable for teaching in Mexico or not? Or better to do a training course in Mexico?

Typically, any school that will accept a 4-week TEFL certificate won't really care where the certificate comes from Mexico, Thailand, or the back of a Wheaties box, as long as you can get the document apostilled or legalized for immigration purposes.

Thank you Is650. Now what will it be... Pacifica, Dos Equis, or Corona? Smile

And since Thailand is not party to the Apostille process, you will need to take that TEFL certificate to the Mexican Embassy in Bangkok and have it legalized. It could be as easy as getting them to stamp it or it could involve a bit more legwork, but you will need to do it Bangkok. I'm sure Leigh at Text and Talk would help you out if you aren't in Bangkok.
