moot point
you would be better looking at sunnybank or eight mile plains for value and securiyt. if you are from asia also many asian there. woodridge is rough. and pogan, beenleigh.
its better to pay more for rent than to live in a place that is not safe dude.
any people from ais please feel free to email me personally to get help about living in brisbane / the gold coast. I am in brisbane, have taught esl and lived in thailand, korea, indonesia.
If you want to stay here just to hang around and be a bum, dont waste my time, I will truely pist on you. I guess that lets 99% of you guys out. sayonara baby!

I grew up in Woodridge and it's nothing too bad... people from the outside think it's worse than it is, and there is a housing boom right now, those areas are getting much nicer.

For anyone thinking about living in Logan I would warn an extreme rental housing shortage, and very high prices for buying (300,000+ for a normal 3 bedroom house). I think it only gets worse the closer to Brisbane you live.

Right now even I am thinking that the "outback" is a better option.
