What are the rules at the moment for entering Turkey at the airport?

I guess we are still not allowed to bring in guns and smack. What's all the nonsense about carrying things in see through plastic bags? or is that just the uk?

Will I need to put pork products in my suitcase?

I wonder how long that oficer spent in training to earn the privledge of handling women's sex toys?

It sounds like a fairly small amount of hash to get excited about, though I guess it gives an interesting shade of meaning to 'personal use'...

To answer the original question:
Allthough I think Turkey is more relaxed than EU/US it is only easier when you fly out. No plastic bags, but they will search your hand luggage. On the way back you still have to go through EU/US customs and they have all gone mad.

I used to take bottles of wine from home with me and that is no longer possible. Also they made my start up my laptop every single time to see it is really a laptop and not a bomb or some sort.
Water I bought after customs I had to drink before boarding the plane, a.s.o.
