Pretty full on, I'd say. But I don't really know because I don't know what psytrance is. If it is what trance was seven years ago, then yeah, full on.
More widespread from spring, outdoors and all, but until then limited, yeah?
Enjoy,

Japan is one of the few remaining meccas of psytrance. It's still going strong there, all over. It's coming up on festival season, so try to make some contacts in your area.
Psytrance is one of the main reasons I'm going back to Japan. |

Faster, better more insane. It's like the first time you heard trance before it got stale. It never gets stale! |

Well the first time I really listened to trance I was rolling so it seemed superb. After I stopped doing that sh*t I began enjoying trance for it's own effects. Now I listen to it less than before so I guess it got a little stale. Can u mention some psy-trance DJs? |

Well you certainly know your stuff there mate. I liked trance, the music was good, too. Mostly got off on the vibe, camping and all. Things have changed since '99, when the kids started going. Then, I heard there were fights and people ripping off; harvesting coin, drugs and audio gear out of tents. Oh well.
Enjoy,

The same thing always happens. I was lucky to go to the raves in south-coast England when I was a teenager in around 1989-1992 . Its a long story ofcourse but those days were revolutionary, something was realy happening but the corporations, gangs etc moved in and it was all messed up. |

So true. Saw the same thing happen on a much smaller scale at a rightous festival in Tokyo. Maybe you know it, harapa matsuri? Good one that was. Three days of camping, live music, food, crafts and what nots. Total hippy vibe, but it also changed. It became more and more commercial and then some kook got on stage and started spouting about decriminalizing weed and that was the end after nearly 20 years. Neighbors were probably stoked.
Sad that because it was one of those times, like you said, something was happening. I looked forward to it every year.
Enjoy,
