| I am hoping someone will have specific insights into the 20-year-old binat. |
Most of what has been said about young Saudi male students also applies to the young women. In other words, what they lack in self-discipline, work ethic or study skills, they make up for in charm, politeness and a great sense of humour. They can be frustrating to deal with at times, but they can also be great fun. As bajalajaula says, with good classroom management, you can minimise the constant calls to 'go to the bathroom' and the endless peeks inside the bag to see if they've got a message on their mobile phones. As I've said, these things are irritating, if only because they're so constant, but you will almost never have to deal with serious behavioural or attitudinal problems from your students. |

Dmb, yes I know, it was a tactic from me to catch you in my fishing net, and drag you in this topic.
But, still some Scots think (in their mind) tha they are not British. |

That's why Tony Blair is promoting for 'Britishness'. What is that exactly??
BTW, Dmb, if you have an appliation form to fill, and you have to tick one the following boxes; a)British, b) English, c)Scottish, d)Welsh, and e)Irish
Which box you tick??

| I have no idea. I actually went to the same school as Bliar. That's embarrassing.... but Scot47 went to the same school as Gordon Brown-that's worse, isn't it? |

I think Scot47 is busy garding his golden box under his bed He is not interested in 'Britishness' neither in Gordon Brown. |

This might be true for Universities but in the military schools you can get some real nasty pasties (to be fair, they have been brutalised by the system.) Luckily for me I've only ever had 1 or 2 bad apples in my time here.

Sugoi something or other I'd imagine.
Reminds me of Mr Ino, the Japanese teacher that came to my high school way back when. He had a class photo with all our names written on it. One day I got it and changed all the names (eg, Colleen became 'Bolleeny.') There wasn't a dry eye in the house when he did roll call.
I know it's wrong / but what should I do? |

I think a japanese teacher teaching American students techniques of Hiragana, Katagana and Kanji, will say the following:
"Moshimo sekaiju no kodomo ga miina heiwa ni nakayoku sumetara ii na"
Which means: " "What a goodly thing, if the children of the world, could live together in peace .." |

search for saudi arabia in the job board, and you will see several job listings which offer anywhere between $2,800 and $4,200.
so, you are in luck. |
