I looked through all 8 pages and couldn't find any info. on these questions so I'll ask them here.

Anyways, I plan on being in Milano for 7 days antime between May 2 and July 30th. Which week is best? Any special events I shouldn't miss? (I decided Milano over Florence).

Also, are there any language exchanges in Milano I could do. I obviously want to learn Italian, but where do I look? I know where to look for Madrid (intercambios) but I haven't heard about these in Italy. Do they exist, and if so, how/where do I look?

And last, I heard Milano is a bit, uhhh, well not the best capital in Europe, but if I want to get out of there what little short side trips do you recommend? I heard Bergamo is really nice... Anyone else been there? Where did you stay?

Oh and what cheap accomadation do I have in Milano for a week. I know hostels exist on the more pricey side, but what about camping and other options?

Thanks,

Daniel, as your queries are about travel and not teaching, perhaps you should try the Thorn Tree site instead - http://thorntree.lonelyplanet.com/categories.cfm?catid=27
