Those names I just mentioned are their given names.

Ayumi, Nami and Namie are given names but Utada and Otsuka are family names. Ms. Utada's given name is Hikaru and Ms. Otsuka's given name is Ai.

Ai caramba! You got me on that one.

I don't know. I just download stuff. I got over 300 Jpop songs but I don't know what albums they pertain to. Very Happy

Uh, I was actually asking the guy I quoted. I'm not a big fan of J-pop, actually (but it certainly doesn't bother me when other people like it).

Forget about the pay scales and working in Japan

Since your income largely determines your other resources and since how you spend 40 hours of your week will significantly impact your mood, they're hardly to be dismissed. Lack of job security and declining pay is pushing a lot of EFL teachers out of the country.

I almost sprained my face wincing at that.

If your name is Ronald, you'll be gone within a week.

Fukuoka is nice as that is where I live BUT in general I think that the Japanese are arrogant, xenophobic, nationalistic, childish idiots who use cultural differences to justify blatant racism and discrimination on a massive scale..

AND yes I am bitter Smile
