Hello, I'm currently teaching in Taiwan but I'm considering moving to Vietnam to teach. Has anyone taught in both countries? Advice? Knowledge? Cookies?
... well maybe not the cookies. just opinions (and reasons for them) either way. |

Its well known the best two countries for making money are S.Korea and Taiwan....I've never even heard of Vietnam being a place that ESL teachers want to go to for work....maybe for vacation but not work... |

I have a friend who has taught in both Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.
For him at least, the lifestyle and the quality of life were best in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where he still is today.
He's not making a ton of money by any means, especially compared to what he could be doing in South Korea or Taiwan, but as that's not your main factor, you might want to consider Cambodia as well. |
