Im getting on for 2 years in the north of Spain and am thinking seriously about applying for a job in the south. The main reasons are that a) rent here is so high that it's basically impossible to rent my own place on a teacher's salary, b) it rains all the time and c) the quirky Basque traditions are starting to become less quirky and more annoying... unfortunately I can see that a lot of the stereotypes of them being cold and anti-social are quite true.

I am thinking about a move to Cordoba having seen a job advertised in a school I would have no hesitation in working for. I was wondering if anyone has either any experience living in that town they would like to share, or whether anyone has made the move from northern to southern Spain and how they found it.

Any comments, suggestions or help are very welcome! Thanks.
