I am moving to San Jose in June to begin teaching and I am wondering what the teaching attire is? I have heard buisness casual (dress pants, or skirt with a nice top) Is this correct?

Correct for where I work, at least. As long as you look nice. As far as I understand it, Ticos care a lot about the person in charge looking and acting as if he's in charge.
