simon is your best bet, he's the DOS. the info one i think is just the general office one. Nataly is the school owner, but she just had a baby a while ago, and is very much part time at the mo. Simon's great, he should get back to you fairly soon.

Try 117.lv lots of schools listed on there. Cash wise nope you're not going to get rich here - maybe 700 LVL a month. Privates are plentiful and students well motivated and it is possible to avoid kiddies if you don't fancy that (and they're certainly not my cup of tea.) I have to agree with Tina though - the teenage classes I've done have been a breath of fresh air after teaching Spanish teens.

I'm almost certain I'll be off out of here in June and if so I'll provide you with the contact details of places I worked for.

Paldies paldies paldies jums abiem! Okay, Anglu Valoda for the more complicated question---how are you both getting on with the Latvian? The grammar can be tedious; I learned it as a child though, so parallel with my English grammar acquisition.

Visa: Will any or the schools help you with this? I looked on the IH website and it seems that. 'yes', they will assist you with, I think the words were "legal documentation'.

Health Insurance: Is this only valid in Latvia? Or is EU? Or International? And if International, does that include coverage in the U.S.? Cause we know it doesn't include scuba diving coverage!!! Surprised

Paldies, Paldies, Paldies!!!

and, Jonniboy---if you would pass on any contact info, I would be ever grateful!
