I'm here in Thailand on a multi entry 'O' visa. I've been offered a teacher training placement with 4 month contract once I qualify my TELF cert. I'm wondering if anyone knows if the O visa is ok to teach on or can it be changed to a B here in Thailand? |

Usually you can change it over to Non-B or you can just get a work permit on the O visa. |

If you want to teach legally in Thailand, you need a work permit regardless of the kind of visa you hold. Holding a particular kind of visa does not permit you to teach legally absent a work permit. A work permit cannot be issued on a tourist visa. The work permit is also location specific. |
