I am moving to San Jose in June and am planning on taking online courses here in the states. Is there high speed internet available? Is there easy access to it or do you have to pay a lot? |

I've no idea how much you pay for internet in the US, but here's it's like.. 100 bucks to hook up a phone line then, oh I dunno, 50-100 bucks a month for a very decent connection. Why do you need an internet connection here anyway, if you're doing the online course in the US? :-/ And online courses suck, but I'm sure you did you research about it already. :)
One thing about internet here is that I imagine it'll take a while to arrange it all, since everything in Latin America runs on a different time schedule than in the US. And if you don't know Spanish it's going to be a lot tougher. |

Internet cafes a plenty, and wireless, yes, available both for installation in homes and in various hotspots around the city. |
