To whom it may concern,
I think my question isn't as complex as theory of relativity!!!
If it's that hard, why are the other guys able to make some positive contributions?
I think some fellas in this forum are confusionists/backstabbers in the making.
If one doesn't have any meaningful input to a query in this forum,it's better one keep mute and let other sincere minds respond.
I rest my case.

Aren't you already there? Even a limited knowledge of the Gulf should help you to guess what QP means...
What is the country? Qatar
What is their only resource? Petroleum
And are they not your new employer?

Hi VS,
Don't be too harsh on me boy.QP can be anything cos it's an acronym,so not knowing it doesn't mean i'm a moron.
Mr know all, kindly tell me what's PSB?That's one of our acronyms here in China.
To cut the long story short,my would be employer actually told me my workplace would be in Al Rayyan which i learnt is outside Doha, and not QP.
Right now i'm holding back coming to Qatar cos i got two other offers in Kuwait and Bahrain which i'm taking my time to vet.As things are now,the kuwait offer so far is the juicest.
Perhaps i might be heading to Kuwait in a few weeks.
All the best fellas.

Let us know what the other two offers are.
Can we presume that the Qatar offer is for QP through Griffith? |

Kuwait's offer - 900 kuwait dinar/month, 2 flight tickets,medicals,insurance,free furnished apt,family status,bla bla .......
Bahrain's offer - 950 bahrain dinar/month,flight ticket,medicals,insurance,free furnished apt,bla bla .......
The Qatar job offer is neither from QP nor through griffith. Is QP/griffith the only recruiter/employee in Qatar?!
What's so special about these employee/recruiter for God's sake???

Nobody intimated there was anything 'special' about 'these employee/recruiter'- the fact of the matter is that they exist, and they recruit. Both the offers you mention are very mediocre salary-wise. What are your qualifications and experience? |

The reason we keep asking you who the recruiters and employers are is that they make a big difference in the Middle East, and have powers over your private life the equivalent in the West would not have.
If you don't state who you are working for we can't answer any of your questions. And if you're making it impossible to answer any of your questions why bother to ask for advice. |

Which are totally irrelevant to the question of which of three similarly paying jobs in three separate countries you should take.
"Hey guys, I've been offered three jobs in Ohio, Kansas and Minnesota. They all pay $30,000 to $35,000 plus accommodation and other benefits. Which should I take. And what's the money like there?" |
