We're thinking along the lines we might get stuck here since the 'superpower' will just suck us up and make us squint harder at reality just like them. Or perhaps rub our chins more, scratch away the stubble supporting our Western standard beards, reflecting the inner turmoil of a civilization and countries, grown wild. Therefore we've landed here, plotted our course back to the heart of civilization, in order to become more demographically determined to meet them head on in their great conquest of re-enlightening us to the rebirth of China's great civilization- superpower.

Which is what the boys are thinking back home, chewing the corn on the cobs, tossing horseshoes, wondering how they'll get here too.

One thing that floors me is 'The Middle Kingdom' mentality that some get suckered into here.
