Bearing in mind the strict rules on segregation, are you prevented from having a maid or do you have a man-servant?

Bearing in mind the strict rules on expenditure among 500 Club members, are you prevented from having a maid or do you simply not pay them?

Married couples may have a maid. Single guys - no way !

I don't know about Saudi university/school compounds, but on private compounds, and compounds of British/American schools, anybody can have a maid, even single men.

We have "man servants" on my compound. Their official title is "house boy."

There's nothing stopping anyone on a 'Western' compound getting a female maid. Apart from the cost, which would include getting her to/from the compound.
