But Nayah is still the same place? Baba's use of the word 'new' confused me

No, it moved to Mis Sokak a few weeks ago after Osman had problems with the a$$hole landlord of the Balo location. Now they are on the corner on the right hand side after Ferdane. They have all 5 floors of a building and the dance floor is the roof teras. Most excellent! (though not for me)

And a question for oldies... I mean oldies from the early/mid 90s. What was in that building before?

Aye, it is a *massive dance floor*. And the plastic windows were neatly rolled up around the edges of the teras so we can expect a few Summertime drunken spillover splats onto the street anytime soon. We were thinking of growing tomatillas and jalepenos in the window boxes that are on the ledges.

Pretty cool.

If you walk past the old Vakko there's a pasaj on the right. Take the lift up to top floor and there is a massive roof top teras. Can anyone remember the name? well pricey. I've only been there once.

you'll be well away from the open windows and you'll run into everyone you haven't seen in decades. There may even be crack involved. Certainly the crack was mighty on the weekend, weren't it?
