Good point. There's more hostility than hospitality.

Of course it is the job of ambassadors to present their country in as positive a light as possible, even if that involves, shall we say, distorting the truth somewhat. But I wonder quite why the OP is so upset by this? Now, I know many expats live sheltered lives and Club 500 members in particular are known to consider a TV and internet connection to be wild extravagances.

But, it seems that the OP has a rather naive view of the world if he considers that an ambassador praising the hospitality of his countrymen and women (whatever your opinion of the reality of Saudi 'hospitality') is something "incredible". I would say that on a scale of 1 to 10, in the world of professional lying for your country, this barely merits a 1. Certainly can't compare to those US "ambassadors" to Iraq who boast of the 'progress' Bush is making in said country, not to mention the Israeli representative at the UN who accused the Lebanese of deliberately putting their childen in the line of US-Israeli fire.

In other words, I think you need to get out a bit more, OP. Or maybe use news sources other than a throwaway interview in a Spanish newspaper.

I presume you're referring to the forum, not the country.

Your pompous arrogance on this forum is really very annoying - and considering you are a guest here since you are not an English teacher, and you have been banned in the past because of your need to provoke people, why not take a breather? Relax little agent, relax, that line was a joke, and you are not really James Bond 007 either.

Little Queenie, I hope your blood pressure is within normal limit!
Me, I am very relaxed under the sun of the magic kingdom.

I am not a guest, nobody, neither you, invited me for this forum. This forum is open to anybody who wants to participate. And if you are not happy with my posts, just ignore them, and keep your blood pressure around normal limit.

Who said I am James Bond 007, I did not claim to be James Bond 007.
I am King Cobra 007 of Arabia. There is a big difference between James Bond 007 and King Cobra 007, the first one is a Western agent, and the second one is an East agent, so the difference between the two, is like the difference between the West and East.

Are you really Queen of Sheba? I know for sure that the real Queen of Sheba died in the 10th century B.C.

What a nice hospitality from the 'virtual' queenie of sessa. Laughing

You are welcome 007. Seriously, for the most part you are entertaining, but during those other times, you are extremely annoying. In case you were not aware of this I suggest you look back on your other posts, say oh, about 3-6 months ago. Oh, wait, they were all deleted they were so annoying. There is something to be said about the old greek phrase "Know Thyself." This is my suggestion to you 007, when in hostile land, spend time looking into the mirror and correcting your flaws.

Isnt it ironic that hostile and hospitality are so closely linked?

We are not Saudi. If we were, we would be a lot more hostile about the attack of mannerisms and esteemed hospitality

As I recall you have been banned under a number of names... a large percentage of locked threads and pulled threads are because of your obnoxious hijackings. You have posts regularly pulled for the same reason. From your profile it looks like almost 50 of your posts have been deleted... and that is only since October... you obviously can't take a hint, can you.

Nobody knows why you are here in the first place as it is not a board for math teachers. Pretty much nobody wants you here including the administrators and moderators of the board because I expect that they are sick and tired of policing you and pulling your intrusive babbling.
