I've been applying and re-applying for FM3s and FM2s since 1991. The first time was in Oaxaca. It only took a month but when I went in to sign, they asked if I would be willing to give some of the officials private classes. I declined seeing as how I was about to sign a document stating I could ONLY teach via the school that had sponsored me.
I've never had to pay on the side for any service they offer. Being polite seems to be enough. |

| Saraswati: That's funny! Though, I bet they would have added it onto your FM3 with no problem. An Immigration officer here (a neighbor) asked me to do a job for him, and quickly added "don't worry, I will arrange your paperwork". Glad to hear things have been consistent for you as they have been with me at INAMI. |
