Golightly, I wasn't asking for an apology or expecting a reply. I was using it as an example of the kind of comment I don't like on the forum, that's all. We don't have to rehash Cool it.

I don't post a lot on here, but I had to stick in my two cents (+gst/pst) re: the "racist" comment and the goings on about the insider jokes. Runeman - are you being serious? I've been on this forum for about a year before I figured out how to sign up (yeah, not so bright...) and I've regularly tuned in to these threads.

Actual racist comments have popped up, but not from the posters you mentioned. These comments were then removed by the powers that be so we have no record of them.

I don't know anyone in here except for Molly. I met whynotme years ago, but he has since departed the forum. I don't care if the others make jokes between themselves. It doesn't ruin my day, if anything it shows that these are real people with real lives that interact with one another.

I don't think that they make "piles of lira" and rant about their vacations, or not in a bad way. I personally like to hear what teachers do on their off time. Again, for me, it makes them more three-dimensional.

Playing the racist card here was a low blow and uncalled for.

I want piles of lira. Where can I get piles of lira? All I get are broken muscles, crack-heads, and cannibalistic guitarists gnawing on my digits. I need a holiday that I can drone on about. Damn.
