Hi!
I will be leaving in April 04 from the UK to work as an ALT in Japan. I would be very grateful for any tips on what to pack and what to do before going. I have drawn up my own list but was just wondering if there was anything I was missing...
Are there any teaching materials that I could get in the UK that you would recommend for teaching 5-15 year olds?
Many thanks in advance! |

Hey Jess, try posting the same question on the Japan forum.
Glad you're coming our way. You sure are planning in advance.
Bring any medicines/vitamins you think you may need and personal hygeine products. We do have toothpaste and toothbrushes.
Sorry I don't teach in your age group, but bring stuff from home to show the kids. Depending on where you live, they may not be used to many foreigners and you could be very popular. |

I agree. Write this in the Japan forum.
I have made an Excel file on preparing to come to Japan. Drop me an email if you want it.
