The comments from Yaramaz about a pilates instructor being hired at Berlitz was pretty funny....and is of concern, especially in view of the fact that Berlitz is one of the most (if not themost expensive language schools to study a foreign language) expensive schools for foreign language study.

The good thing about Berlitz, is that if they like you and you do a good job, you will be treated pretty well, and can work there for the long term.

Also the Berlitz 'name' despite the naysayers, still carries weight and prestige.

Ghost has friends who work for Berlitz, Montreal, who have been there for years. That says a lot about a language school. It is all a question of 'fit' and whether you can conform to their regimented lesson structure (the Berlitz way). If you can adapt, good, if not, you might not be happy.

It is much safer to be feared than loved. Love is sustained by a bond of gratitude which, because men are excessively self-interested, is broken whenever they see a chance to benefit themselves. But fear is sustained by a dread of punishment that is always effective. Machiavelli

Awesome. I am verging on a decision. Thanks very much for the insight!
