Of course I'd like to make this a quality post asking, in an organized fashion, about several kinds of activities, their costs and convenience and availability. But I simply can't right now, end of year time crunch and all.
Does anyone know how much it costs to skydive in UAE, and where, and any other relevant info?
I've seen several airports around the country, but what about private pilots flying personal craft?
Also, how long does it take to drive from Al Ain to Al Fujairah (on the east coast), especially, Badiyeh? The maps I've seen don't show any roads going between Al Ain and Fujairah. If you could go through Oman, it might be quicker, but I don't know how simple border crossings are. |

You must have an old map. Many new fast roads have been built in recent years so Al Ain to Fujiarah is not a problem. You can skydive at Umm al Qawaim, and possibly elsewhere.

I went from Al Ain to Fujiarah a couple of months ago and think it took about 2(ish) hours. I was asleep for part of this so am not sure (obviously I wasn't driving . The road was fine - as good as you'd get anywhere else - in fact better than some UK motorways. |
