Hello

I've only been in Prague for a few days now and I've looked in to a couple of schools(Caledonian, Ulrych) but the jobs they have require me to run all around town to different companies.
Does anyone know of a good school in which you actually teach on the school grounds?
Also, I have a TEFL certificate and one year's teaching experience in Korea - is this enough to get a good job here or do I need the CELTA as well?
I would really appreciate any info. that you might be able to provide me with on these issues, or for that matter, any general advice about working here that might be helpful.

Thanks

You don't need a CELTA, but the vast majority of jobs in Prague require you to run around town. You are unlikely to find anything where you teach primarily in a school. That's the market in Prague (and most of Europe). Too bad you were unaware of this before making the move.

thnx Spiral78.

Well, if running around to different companies is the only option that I can find, then I'll do it.

You'll find that there are compensations - Prague's a fantastic city!
The summertime's not the nicest for commutation, with the tourist hordes and heat, but things will loosen up after August at least a bit.
Luck to you!

And then you'll freeze your nuts off in the winter!
