Hi there, i just got a couple questions im wondering about...and yes i checked the search bar.
1)someone mentioned that anime dvds are REALLY cheap in Japan and manga books are only like 2 dollers each...is that true?
2)when i go down to japan, would it be wise to cut my hair(i have long hair) since its not that common down there? I dont want to go down there and not be able to meet new friends cuz they think im some "bad guy" or "wierdo".

I have never seen anything cheap in Japan unless it is at the second hand store. Anime is cheap to rent (100 yen) but I think it is normal to buy. Manga is probably pretty normal to, but if you keep your eyes open you can pick some up on the street or at conferences or on the train, and I think the 100 yen store sells some...oh, but they will be in Japanese.....
oh and I have seen some weird characters/foreigners here...you may fit right in with other foreigners.... |
