I'm going to come straight out with it...
What's your preference??? Polish men or Czech men in regards to dating, relationships and attraction?
I'm trying to decide which country I want to go to, so.. let me know about the local talent:) |

Well I dont know much about the Czechs but I will give my 2 grozny regarding the polacks.
To quote many polish girls who admired my rugged good looks, comparing it to the local selection: "Polish mans is so ugly!!" A lot of girls also mentioned how they are pretty shy to approach, and pretty "boring."

| You must not know very much about the world, because if you did, you would not entertain the notion that a Western woman might be remotely interested in Slavic men. The reason for which being the very same reason that no foreign women have responded to your post: there are very few of them here in Poland, because this male-dominated country is hardly conducive to their interests. Besides, even the ugly guys have attractive girlfriends here. Good luck competing with beautiful Polish girls for loser guys. |

I wouldn't go so far, old friend. I knew plenty (well--ok--3) foreign women when I was in Poznan and a few more than that when I was in Czestochowa. Include my Warsaw connections and you get a decent handful of foreign women in Poland. They are, of course, outnumbered 20:1 by foreign men. Of the foreign women I knew, I'd say that about half of them were happily ensconced with Polish men.
That being said, I will respond to the original post by suggesting Poland, if only because I, too, have no experience in the Czech Republic. There are plenty of overbearing Polish men and plenty of wimps. A good chunk of the regular, decent guys have left and gone off to England. But if you aim right at the middle you'll find some really nice people. I had some very nice and respectable male friends when I was in Poland.
I would suggest the following rule: if they can speak English to you and impress you in the first 5 minutes of meeting them, you've probably got someone from that middle segment I mentioned earlier. Enjoy. |

Certainly there is a smattering of guys in Poland who might hold the interest of a decent American girl, but it is a smattering and only a smattering. My Korean friend is right to point that out.
However, the more important point to make here is that this small faction of Poles has already taken for itself the choicest of young Polish women, and would hardly bother with some American backpacker. Poland finds itself in the opposite situation as the States and England, the latter boasting men who are decidedly more handsome than the women. Polish women, as we all know, are of a caliber so much higher than the men that we have all felt bad for a good number of Polish girls when we see what they have managed for themselves, and with whom they will be spending the rest of their lives.
So while afowles is correct to note that there is a certain small constituency of Polish guys who are attractive, worldly and English-speaking, it is equally noteworthy that the OP won't be getting one. Instead, she will end up eating pierogi with some mama's boy, or talking about cars with some street thug, or worse yet, she will resort to some drunken ex-pat English teacher. |

Must say, your reply is very predictable.
So, US and UK men are more attractive than the women??? Umm, news to me.
You're right I don't know alot about the world. Well, Europe at least... I've been living in Asia for the last three years, and I'm looking forward to the new experience. But, as expected... men's replies never change no matter where you are.
Well, thanks very much for the information. It has made a very entertaining read. I thought that the Euro forums needed to be spiced up a bit 
Looks like I'm going to Poland.

Well, it seems mostly BOYS replied here.... interesting. Have your 'gorgous' Polish wives turned you gay? 
Anyway, back to the topic. For me, defintely Czech men. |
