It seems, according to some media, a Saudi prince and former ambassador to the United States, is at the center of a bribery scandal of epic proportions.
If the above story is true, I wonder if the Mutawaas, could implement the sharia law (severing of the hand from the wrist) against the above Prince?
As one journalist said " I personally would be satisfied if they just clean-shave this motha fucka." |

According to the media, the prince received about $2 billion.
Which is the equivalent of 56 years of salary of 1000 ESL teachers in KSA (assuming the monthly salary of one teacher is $3000) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dream, dream, and dream. |

He is, of course, denying it, saying the money went into Saudi gov accounts, and not into his own account.
Only God -- and the people involved -- knows what happened. |

It seems the money were tranferred to Riggs Bank in Washington (now closed), and according to BBC, the money were used to finance flights for the Princes private jet. |

If "his" refers to Prince Bandar, then I guess "dog" refers to George Bush! |

Well, whatever that Prince did to get 2Bn, I would do it for less. Hey, I'm cheap. So, if anyone is looking for someone to do something bribable, just give me the price of even a Piper Alpha (tho a Learjet or a small Gulfstream would help) and a tank or two of fuel to get going, and I'm yours.
Dammit, I don't even want the salary of 1,000 teachers in KSA...just one salary, every month over the next 56 years...guaranteed into my bank account...ok, preferably up front...and there's a lot I'd do!!!!
OK, there's the trifling and insignificant distinction that I'm not a Saudi Prince...but hey, not my fault I'm not. |

Yes, dmb....but buying it now doesn't make the money, selling later will...one hopes!!
That's the investors, of course. Me, I just play with other peoples' money..which unfortunately must be given back.
Even they won't make 2 Bn, however!!
If I apply for 56,000 FL jobs in KSA for a year, perhaps, and be an absentee from all of them? That is pretty common in KSA after all!! |

And once the British parliament talked about investigating this scandal, Blair helped BAE cover it up. The reason? Bandar told Blair that he better stop the inquiry or he couldn't promise that there wouldn't be another 7/7 when the buses blew up in London. http://www.newsweek.com/how-saudis-pressured-uks-blair-government-93073 (Also see http://www.theguardian.com/world/2008/feb/15/bae.armstrade ).
Bandar also threatened Putin and claimed that the Saudis control the Chechen terrorists who have been attacking Russian targets for years. This had Putin worried that the Winter Olympics in Sochi could have been attacked. But Putin, unlike the cowardly Blair, told Bandar to shove it. http://consortiumnews.com/2013/12/31/the-russian-saudi-showdown-at-sochi/
The Consoritum News article goes on, "Bandar arranged for members of the bin Laden family to flee the United States on some of the first planes allowed back into the air – after only cursory interviews with FBI investigators. The only segment of the 9/11 Commission’s report to be blacked out was the part dealing with alleged Saudi financing for al-Qaeda."
By the way, taking bribes that lead to people dying and that directly support terrorism is nothing to joke about! |

You've dug up a 7 year old thread to criticize their sense of humor versus yours?
It sounds like lots of gossip and speculation to me. Whose hands are dirtier... Bandar, Bush, Blair, or Putin? It is the way of the world. It was obviously the Bush administration that arranged to fly out their buddies' families (one of them had been meeting with Daddy Bush with the Carlyle Group in DC). The bin Laden family is a very huge and interesting family, even if one ignores the biggest bad apple (ObL did have 54 siblings). We had about a dozen members of the family living in my condo project in VA. They probably flew out on those planes. To be honest, they were in more danger staying here in the US than we would have been from their being forced to stay.
