Can anyone give me an estimate of what the salary range is at Zayed for someone with a masters and 12 years teaching experience, almost all of it pre-masters? What are some of the other benefits?
I have searched their website and there is nothing updated here on Dave's about salaries at Zayed since 2005.
Thanks. |

| How about an educated guess? Don't worry, I won't hold you to it. |

I heard that Zayed pays a bit less than HCT, but not sure what HCT would pay, so this does help a bit.
Anyone know abut benefits at Zayed? Any current or recent employees? |

Although I don't know, it's quite likely that salaries at ZU haven't increased since 2005 so any info you have from then may well still be applicable.
If you look back through earlier threads, you'll find a link I posted to HCT salaries (which now have an extra 6% bonus added on); if ZU salaries are indeed similar/a bit lower, then you'll have at least a ballpark estimate. |

Gordon... these two places have pretty much the same pay and benefit package. Both are Ministry of Higher Education contracts...

| 13000 sounds about right. 300 Dirhams a month increase last year. This year's hasn't been announced yet TTBOMK. |

| At ZU there has been a 10% increase in salaries due to the fact that around 120 faculty are leaving...more for the taking and less for the leaving...comments welcome as always...but consider a place that has to handle processing 120 people to leave...and then replacing them...4 provosts down and counting as well...only 8 years in the making...good luck to those who plan to start in the fall... |
