When's the Sayonara party? Wink

On the bright side you'll soon be able to brag to the Americans that your dollar is stronger than their dollar! Wink

Just to flip things around a little. Has anyone heard from any friends back home. My friend is in the hardwood flooring business and he's been telling me that the high canadian dollar has been sucking just as bad for him as it is me. Over 80% of his sales are to Asia and the U.S, the high canadian dollar has not been good for him as well. Sad

You missed it. You weren't invited. Probably too busy shopping for a necklace. I had a few friends leave last month.

A furniture export company in my area recently went out of business...not sure how stable they were before, but the current high canuck buck was the final nail in the coffin for them.

The air does seem fresher these days. I wondered why, thanks for explaining.

Agreed, that is shocking.

Looks like there will be many Brits on their way home soon if things don't brighten up.
