From what I've seen and heard here on this board over the years is that it is a fine job for new teachers, but with a little training and experience you can get better pay/hours else where.
If you are looking for a taste of Mexico, you can have a great experience with them. If you are a career TEFLer you will probably be frustrated. |
I am getting there at the end of August and according to your email is the right place to start, because I have no teaching experiences yet. I did a secondary pedagogical school, so I have an idea about it, but no experiences yet.
I must say, that they are nice and send me all informations I need, so I have a good feeling about school.
I will write after I will begin to teach there, so you could get better idea. |

Now is the right moment to tell something about school.
I came to Culturlingua to Sahuayo with no teaching experiences, they knew it and I am also not a native speaker. So I really got an amazing chance here.
We had an orientation meeting, where principal told us, how she wishes us to teach, what the rules of school are , she tried to describe us how Mexican students are. She is really helpful and I really am so happy, that money isnt all they are interested in. They really want best for teachers and students. She helped with all kind of problems we had and you never have feeling that you are alone in situation. She also doenst blame teachers for anything, just wants to find a solution always.
I am really happy I began here. |

If you're interested, I have taught at two Culturlingua schools (Los Reyes and Tlaquepaque [Guadalajara]) in 2009 - 2010 and 2012 and have some information if you're interested. Email me. |
