Hi all,

I have heard that rules have recently changed in many countries regarding working visa's and that now governments have made it compulsory to have a degree to gain a working visa.........

I would really love to go to China, Thailand or Vietnam - but I have no degree in anything only my TESOL qualification - can anyone help?

Thanks

Non-urban China has loads of jobs - it is really only the major urban areas that are looking for degrees these days. Also an option - Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia - S. America. Lots of options!

Though a degree is required in Thailand - loads of people continue to teach on tourist visas with real evidence of enforcement of the rules.

Yeah, sure, there is the occasional high-profile arrest of someone who was really asking for it - but most people who live relatively quiet lives do just fine.
