To all fresh and seasoned foreigners in Taiwan,
Hi all. I'm an ex-expat who used to live in Taiwan for a number of years. I heard from a friend not long ago that a foreigner (American) was found dead in his apartment in Taipei about two weeks ago. Did anyone hear of this news? What were the circumstances? I'm curious and hope it's no one I know...well, it's unfortunate in any case - but if you know of any news links or information, please share.

I am sad to say that a long time Ex-Pat of Taiwan and Hong Kong was found dead in his apartment near Busan , Korea a couple of months ago. His brother flew here three weeks ago to pick up his remains, which were not a lot after three weeks or so dead and he was found badly decomposed.
If any one is concerned about who it was PM and I will discuss it further with you. |

People die a lot in Korea-suicides and heart attacks are two I've read about. But nothing here so far.
I suppose my body would have to stay, if that were the case. Or would they just cremate me? Really, I often wonder if this'd be serious enough to warrant some type of funeral arrangements.
I wouldn't want to be a haunting ghost. |
