Can't figure it out and actually I am computer literate. I posted the pic I wanted to use as my avatar on a separate page of my web site, posted the url in the appropriate space and guess what......Nothing. Is there a simpler way to upload a graphic for avatar use...................PLS Help

Don't follow the train here. Could you be a little more specific as to the steps.
Thanks |

1. Find a url (internet address) for an image that you like. Searching google for images will give image-only urls. Alternatively, hosting an image on a website is best, as then you aren't stealing bandwidth from someone else.
2. Login to Dave's and go to your profile.
3. Enter the image URL into the "link to offsite avatar" box.
4. Update your profile. |

And for cryin' out loud, use an avatar that is a reasonable size: if you use a large avatar it really screws up the column spacing of the various posts. |

Look at your properties! Double the limit!
No, there must be a serious reason to ban someone. |

Right-click on the avatar, then click on Properties at the bottom of the list that appears. The information is there. |

If you are a windows user, simply right-button click on the image and get 'Properties' for the image.. |

Its not easy to find a suitable image small enough.
Anyway its good to see your trying to change that freaky image, chinadan, now if you could just have a word with Rhondaplace...... |
