I really want to contact ECC regarding employment either in Toronto or the L.A. Office. Does anybody know a contact number in the U.S.. The Toronto office says it will accept applications mid-june. It is now the 22. If anybody can tell me anything it would be appreciated.

I tried contacting ECC several times; before I came to Japan and when I arrived. No one ever answered any of my inquiries? This was between March and May.

Check back on their website. ECC just updated their page, and the Toronto office is now accepting applications to start work in early 2008.

I work at ECC. The turnover at ECC is not as high as at Nova (for good reason) so you may have to wait longer for an interview/availability. Right now there seem to be more than enough teachers in Kansai (Osaka-Kyoto area). The big hiring season passed by in February and March (the new school year starts in April), so you`ll have to wait until some teachers go home. The situation could be different in Chubu (around Nagoya) and Kanto (around Tokyo) districts.

I don`t know if the L.A. office is still operating, but most American teachers seem to have been hired through the Toronto office.
