aaah, Starbucks:) I would love to join you in istanbul, but I'm an Ankarite! If I were there I would have a Grande Caramel Iced Frappaccino with extra caramel on the inside and on top. Ha ahahahaha actually if I did that I would probably fall into a sugar coma... so have a black coffee in my name instead Very Happy

It's not Esentepe but a 5 minute walk. Profilo shopping mall has a gym. I've heard it is very good but not sure about the price.

Don't feel bad about getting down and depressed. Life here is wonderful and strange and lonely and frustrating all at the same time. Sometimes I think it's harder for those who met their Turkish partners abroad as it's always difficult to know if, and how, someone will change when they are immersed in their own culture again. I've always approached everything with great caution in life - I keep watching my boyfriend and his family to try and anticipate how life would be if I decided to settle here permanently. I admire you guys who take the plunge and do it. Smile
