Hi all,
I am considering going to Costa Rica to teach English and it seems that the general feeling is you need to actually show up first to get a job. Is that true? I have to admit that this idea is a little bit nerveracking. Is it probable that I could show up, try to find a job for a little but not succeed? Has this happened to anyone?
Thanks!

Get enough money to be able to stay here a while with no income, you'll manage fine with 1000 bucks for two or even three months without breaking a sweat. You will probably be able to get classes pretty fast, but getting a full schedule that you can live on may take a little while. |

I agree with Ole. It should be fine with around $500.00 depending on your living style. |
