| I am going to Vietnam for a short 3 week trip in the autumn and wondered, if you stick to the coastline and major cities how necessary it is to take malaria tablets? I will be travelling by train from HCMC to Hanoi stopping off in Hue. I went to my local travel clinic and the nurse there told me it�s not necessary if you stick to those areas but I wouldn't mind knowing a few opinions from people who are living there. |

Wouldn't worry about it. I took my young kids there last year and never worried and we got off the beaten track as we couldn't help ourselves.
Vietnam is a great place to travel to. |
