|
|
Hi chaps - a quick question ...
I remember that the last couple of times I left Indo on an EPO (Exit permit only) I didn't have to pay fiscal, due to a recent change in the law.
Does this exemption from fiscal also apply when leaving on an ERP (Exit and Re-entry permit) ie - still in the middle of my KITAS but taking a month holiday in the UK.
Advice much appreciated |

In a word... no. OK, someone will come on to tell us about how they marched through and got away with it, but the rule remains that you have to pay. |

wrong.....you don't have to pay. Last year I went thru Batam and did have to. That was around May 2006 but this year during the same month they kindly told me before going thru imigrasi that this was no longer necessary. Anyone who had to pay has been ripped off. Hold your ground and be firm, of course there is still funny business going on within the imigrasi walls. |

sorry guys.......I got it wrong, I left at the end of my contract and not in the middle. So yes, as far as I know you do have to pay during the 12 month period. |
