I've done a search, but there are few posts and they're all pretty old. Anyone gone through this recruiting service? Is it decent?

i've been on their e-mail list for three years, and they seem to have quite a few good offers.

i've recently been in touch with them about a position here.

leslie dong, who seems to be the contact point, sounds cordial and extremely prompt and professional. i'm a bit disappointed, though, that the job offer the school i applied to came back not as advertised in terms of salary and hours. i asked epoch about this, and they gave me what i think was a weak explanation about posting the ad before the school had finalized the terms of employment.

Dear NatureGirl,

My dealings with them have been anything but positive...anything but...

They obtained my name and my email through a friend of mine who thought she was doing me a favor.

They wrote me and I answered them...I told them that I was interested in a full-time position in Guangzhou for x RMB per month.

She emailed me for about the next six months offering me part-time jobs in Beijing, in Urumqui, in Shangdong, in God's Green Acre. She was not helpful at all, at all, at all...so I was patient and reiterated what I wanted...

And Ms. Dong continued to email the most inane part-time jobs.

When I finally had enough, I actually called her to ask her what was going on. Like a previous poster, her answer was completely smoke-and-mirrors...she was sorry but the best she could for me with my background was a part-time job...what a laugh.

Put this recruiter in the trash bin where she belongs. She will waste your time completely and in the end be of absolutely valuable assistance to you.

HFG
